It's about you.

Hi there!

I am absolutely passionate about supporting creatives, professionals and leaders. I'm here to help you reclaim your power, rewrite your rules, connect with what brings you joy, and create a life that truly aligns with your values, vision, passion and purpose.

I spent over 20 years balancing different careers in the performing arts community of Chicago. For 12 years I was a faculty member at the famous comedy school The Second City. I was a founding member of the acclaimed music improv group The Improvised Sondheim Project and worked professionally as a Jeff Award-winning actor, singer, improvisor, writer, teacher, director, graphic designer, and musician. (In other words, I speak creative.)

All while holding down various jobs in tech, web, marketing, advertising, consulting, and more. (In other words, I also speak corporate.) You can visit my website or LinkedIn for more information.

While working in Chicago, New York, Los Angeles, and regionally, I experienced all the passion, excitement, disappointment, and challenges (or as I like to call them, "challportunities") that creative professionals and artists experience every day.

But as I continued along my path, I found myself searching for something more in my career and in my life. I wanted to step into a different kind of role that enabled me to be my whole, authentic self while helping others create meaningful, empowering change in their own lives.

That's why I became a coach.

I trained as a coach with the ICF-accredited Institute for Professional Excellence in Coaching (iPEC). With new insight, I suddenly found myself breaking old, unhelpful patterns I'd been in for years and discovered new joy in simply being. And in being creative.

Becoming a coach has changed my life and led me in some exciting new directions. But most importantly, it has provided me with exceptional, proven tools to help my clients.

Quick Facts About Aaron

I earned my BA with distinction from Cornell University.
I trained as a coach with the Institute for Professional Excellence in Coaching (iPEC). I am a Professional Certified Coach (PCC) as conferred by the International Coaching Federation.
I trained in improv comedy with The Second City Conservatory, iO Chicago, and Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre in LA.
I have years of experience working in a variety of roles in both the corporate and academic worlds. This provides me with additional depth and breadth of knowledge that I leverage for my clients.
In my free time, I enjoy hiking, running, playing piano, drawing, and consuming science fiction, science fact, and ice cream.
